You can see what will be the concrete from the parking lot at the top center of the photo. Follow it all the way down the photo to the board that is just feet away from our back wall. Anybody know any fast-growing, privacy trees/bushes I can plant in just 3 feet of space?
It appears they are building some crazy structure, with various concrete levels and blocks. I can't wait for it to go up, and we'll have to see how much taller we can make our back fence.
Also, a quick check in on the tree-killers reveals the senseless massacre may be coming to an end. Above is a photo from my backyard, and the line of trees just along the bayou in front of the ginormous power poles.
This is from the construction sight, where the new hotel will be, and you can see the same 2 power poles. They've cleared the area of all the dead trees & hopefully they are done with the destruction of the beautiful trees.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: At least they left a few trees (hopefully!).
