GUADALUPE RIVER

While we had a great time floating with friends, we both really enjoyed the picturesque views as we floated down the Guadalupe River last weekend.

It's so peaceful to lay back on the tube and enjoy the gorgeous trees and lush mountains slowly pass by. During the summer, the river can get CRAZY with huge groups and lots of alcohol, but it was mostly pretty quiet since we were floating at the end of September.

We've had a very rainy summer here in Texas, so there was plenty of water and the river was running at a good clip. No getting out and walking over the rocks :)

H & I decided it was so beautiful and serene that we should do back and camp along the banks sometime.
