BEAR LAKE TRAIL

In addition to the luxurious A/C at our hotel, we woke to quite a few visitors off of our back porch. There were about 15 moose out for their morning breakfast. They were so freaking cool to watch.

Monday morning,we had a few hours to cram as much sightseeing before heading back to our real life. We decided to do a short 2 hour hike from Bear Lake that would take us to several other lakes. It was a *very* popular trail, especially near the bottom. Our first lake on the trail was Nymph Lake, which was covered in beautiful lilies. It was so awesome that there was even a painter there set up capturing the beauty.

Next stop was Dream Lake, a designated fly-fishing area. Another spectacular place, and many fisherman were enjoying an unbeatable view. We were even lucky enough to watch this angler land a fish.

The trail ended at Emerald Lake where you turned a corner and suddenly were face to face with an amazing mountain and stunning lake.

While enjoying the view of Emerald Lake, we noticed some inmates from the asylum were loose and attempting to scale the mountain. How many can you find? Email me if you want the hi-res file to find crazies who thought it was a good idea. Answer tomorrow.

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Nothing brings you closer to GOD than being close to his creation.

Hey--we recently visited Sprague Lake, which is right by Bear Lake. Except, we had four children under five and three mommies so it was just a walk around the lake.
