Around 9 o'clock at night, the 2 dogs FINALLY figure out how to *PLAY*. Ruby had zero interest in toys, she only wanted to play with Zoe. Zoe's only interest in the toys was keeping them from Ruby. I threw the much loved Pig a few times. Throw the pig. Ruby would chase it. Zoe would leave it & run back to me. Zoe would retrieve the pig once Ruby wasn't around. Ruby finally picked up the pig & Zoe decided to chase her. 
And the game of chase began! With a LOT of barking...obviously by Zoe because Ruby wasn't putting the pig down.
Round the bar.
Round the hallway.
BARK BARK BARK!
Zoe angled back and forth, while Ruby did most of the running and I just tried to stay out of the flight paths. They played for a good 10 minutes and even played chase again the next morning.
Both tired & hoping they can sneak into bed with me. They both slept on their own beds and did great all night long.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: No plans today- just chores around the house and some R&R!
