Sunday morning we woke up nursing our sunburns and headed downtown for a late breakfast. We then went for a walk around the bay front and into the marina.
There are super-swank condos that line the main boulevard.
Lots of trees and park, even some filled with very unusual art.
This fun boardwalk leads to the marina area is very nice, filled with ritzy boats.
There is a park out on the point where many people gather or walk their dogs.
The view of the Bay from the end of the park is gorgeous!
Although we didn't stop for drinks at the Tiki Bar, we couldn't resist a photo-op with the tiki man.
So happy together....
We wandered around the bookstores and coffee shops of downtown Sarasota and then headed over to the botanical gardens....GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: We had a great weekend- some fun and lots of R&R.
