More Puppy Playing

I'm still waaaay behind on puppy blogging, so I"m trying to get caught up. After their first play, the dogs played a wee little bit outside.

I felt bad for Mia- she wants to play and be silly so badly, but Zoe wants no part of that.

Classic puppy pose- the bow with the butt up in the air is a signature Mia move.

She will bark and growl and bounce around Zoe and Zoe ignores it all.

And this is one of the 2 times Zoe picked up this toy. She refused to retrieve it at all after this, even though I had treats- how rude!

But of course Mia was happy to play with it, even it was almost too big for her to carry around.

She ended up going in reverse the first few days and dragging it around behind her.

NOM NOM NOM....

We're already doing some recall work, without the word *COME*, just using her name and some fun whistles. She's doing pretty good so far.

I even tried getting out Zoe's older kong on a rope that she loves.

One retrieve and she was done with that one too.

Mia would just chase Zoe around the yard where ever she went.

Can you see the smile on her face?

What's wrong with this picture ?

Yes, somebody destroyed the rope on the kong! I'm not sure what's so fun or tasty about it.

Wrinkles in motion.

Eh...the aftermath.

Delilah and Rocket said...

We use a boating survival whistle for Rocket & Delilah as no one else at the dog parks have one and they are LOUD! It's a totally different pitch than the Remmington whistles or other dog whistles. They know it when they hear it from 100 yards away! and they know they'll get super duper treats if they come running. Whistle recall is an awsome thing to use.
