A Tale of Two Weddings

In July, we attended two very different weddings. We know this lovely bride as she is the daughter of a good family friend. She's a bit younger than us, but like family.

H's mom was there, as were the parents of our favorite nephews.

Great church wedding & a wonderful reception with yummy food, drinks and dancing.

A few weeks later we ended up at a wedding of a different kind for one of H's distant cousins. It was a Friday night & we weren't invited to the ceremony, only the reception. It's hard to make out, but I didn't want to be too obvious taking pictures of strangers, but you can see the bride carrying her daughter.

One of our "aunts" kicked up the dance floor with her 70-something year old uncle- they were too cute!

H is convinced he wants a hat like this now.

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Puppies are 8 weeks old & ready to go to their homes!

A hat is a risky dance accessory. They tend to end up on the floor. (Unless you're just like doing a Foxy or something.)
