After our second winery, it was time for a little lunch break & our guide took us to Le Petite Ferme, "The Little Farm" in French, which was a restaurant, winery & guest house all in one.
This was the view we enjoyed of their vineyards & the Franschhoek valley that we enjoyed as we dined on the patio.
They had a lovely lawn area where we waited for our table & you can see old old house that was converted into the restaurant for fine French dining.
I just loved these trees & wanted to take them home with me.
Our last stop and final vineyard was Anura.
This was our beautiful view as we sat outside on their large porch next to the pond.
The inside of their winery was nice & I'd love to snuggle in front of that fireplace with some delicious wine on a cold day.
They had a frog theme going on...not sure why, but I'm assuimg there were some nice frogs in the pond out front.
Although fairly full from lunch still, we managed to enjoy some lovely cheeses with our wine tasting.
Do people who live in the shadow of such beauty every get tired of waking up to something like this every morning?
A trip to the Cape Winelands was a wonderful way to end our stay in Cape Town.
We headed back to Cape Town as the sun was setting. I'd highly recommend exploring these gorgeous valleys & drinking scrumptious wine, or an over-night tour if your trip allows.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Puppies are 3 weeks old!
