Most.Amazing.Thing.Ever!
H and I went to see the movies on Saturday morning to catch one of his favorite bands in 3D and bigger than life IMAX-size. The U2 3D Movie is a spectacular piece of work and I encourage everybody to see it, even if you are only a mild-U2 fan. When it is sponsored by National Geographic, you know the images will be stunning.
U2 has such awesome music and to see them perform live in concert is smashing! Their songs carry such deep meaning and such an important political message.
The 3D aspect of it was amazing. You literally felt like you were part of the pulsating crowd in Buenos Aires. You have a birds eye view of the concert, just feet away from Bono. The 3D portion of it was very real and it the absolute huge size of the IMAX theatre makes it all the more real and lifelike.
They did an excellent job of adding some of their own special effects, as well as incorporating the graphics from the concert itself. The cinematography was spectacular and there were shots that looked like they would have taken days to film in a movie, but were all recorded live.
We must now go see them at their next concert. Maybe in Europe ;)
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY:
