Tango rules the town in Bunoes Aires. There are numerous "shows" for tourists, which include dinner and dancing. You can also find more local spots with actual Portenos dancing for the sake of dancing instead of for entertainment purposes. Peter suggested the show at Esquina Carlos Gardel as a great place to watch the show, so we made reservations for that very evening.
The show/company was named for Carlos Gardel, whose tragic life and early influence on tango have earned him a major role in the evolution of tango in BA. The building was beautiful and we decided it was worth the extra tourist rip-off price to see this show with a full live band and singers.
Dinner was pretty decent and it was all the wine you could drink ;) The dancing was phenomenal and I loved all the different outfits and costumes. So without much more to add- here are the best photos I could get in the dark theatre.
GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: I love latin dances!
