Jammin' Jungle Parade

Just as we were about to leave the park, we were able to catch a great seat for Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade that loops around the park.

Again- the costumes and designs of these floats are amazing. They are so adorable & funky!

The whole theme of the parade was animals and a jungle safari. Lots of floats had amazing replicas of animals & very much reminded me of the Broadway version of Lion King.

Many of the animals were these intricate bird contraptions that were operated by pulling or riding a bike device.

As neat as the show was, I was much more interested in how they made all these great animal outfits and the movements as they danced down the road.

Here comes Minnie- with her whole extra carriage of luggage! That won't be me now that the airlines are charging for bags.

Although we had a great seat for the show, we were staring into the sun as the caravans approached us. It was tough timing the shots for the instant the characters blocked out the blinding glare.

Goofy was all ready for the big safari too!

Some of the parade animals had special carts, that I assumed were taking very special guests (that had paid very special sums of money!).

So glad we stayed for this & I highly recommend seeing it if you have a chance.

And of course the parade was ended by the Mickey-man himself headed out for an expedition.

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: We're going camping this weekend!
