Shea Stadium & Fenway Park

The whole point of the trip to NYC & Boston was to continue H's quest to see some of the major ballparks. Last year, he visited Yankee Stadium & National Stadium. Since this is the last season of baseball at Shea Stadium, he decided to make the trek back to NYC.

I was worried all weekend about the weather, since there was 100% of rain in both cities. Luckily, both games dodged the weather & he checked off 2 more stadiums.

It's not a baseball game without some authentic NYC hot dogs!

They had pretty good seats for this game, and I love the bald dude with his head painted.

Sunday, they attended the last regular season game of the season at Fenway, where they were hosting the New York Yankees. Too say that tickets were difficult & expensive is an understatement!

The guys were way in the outfield for this game & they sat through quite a bit of rain and a few delays before the game got started.

At least it was entertaining to watch the grounds crew run back and forth with the tarps!

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: H is "working" with clients at a football game this afternoon & a concert tonight, so I've got the whole lazy day to myself.

I didn't know you were out on the east coast... Too bad you didn't stop in the Philly area!
