Boys at the Park

For a break from the marathon swim session, we took the boys to the park just around the corner from my house. They don't really have anything like this in their neighborhood, but the oldest quickly mastered the monkey bars.
The other one promptly jumped off the landing and fell flat on his face. H helped him next time, and you can see how he kindly returned the favor by aptly kicking H.
It was neat to see them figuring out new things & learning how to climb up or slide down.

The ran around the field, almost as fast as Ruby, kicking their ball.
Or throwing the softball they found.

Back to the park and on the swings. As usual, the older one helps out quite a bit with the younger two.

He quickly became bored though, so H filled in with the younger two getting them on the swings.

Again- I can't even imagine all 5 boys all day long!
The water fountain was the source of some hilarity.

When we felt we'd sufficiently worn them out, we headed back to my mom's to hit the pool and cool off again before burgers & hot dogs.

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: I ordered a new desk chair & desk lamp- hopefully the finishing touches on my office renovations.

I guess it's the same with boys as with vizslas -- a tired one is a good one! ;-)

You can tell they had a blast with you guys. They are very lucky to have you guys in their lives!
