Sophomore Homecoming

So last year my brother was new to the whole high school thing & homecoming snuck up on him before he had a chance to ask the girl he liked. This year, he was ready for the game & made some cookies with a homecoming invite to give to the girl he liked. Luckily she said yes, and there were a few drama-filled weeks between the invite and the actual event.

This is Hunter going to school on Friday of homecoming with his garter. I really wish I had a photo of the beautiful mum that he made for his date, but I haven't seen any pop up on Facebook yet that I could steal.

Saturday night was the big dance & he bought new clothes and a tie to match her dress.

They went with her best friend and her date, plus 3 other single guys who were friend with the girls since middle school.

One of the parents drove them to the dance & then they had an "after-party" at Steak & Shake until 2AM!

As you can see, things got a little out of hand (well as much as 15 year old's can get out of hand).

Charlie's Angels Pose?

Not sure if this was intentional, but I still think it came out neat.

At the end of the day, he wasn't too thrilled with all the drama involved in teenage dating. Looks like mom will be the leading lady in his life, at least for a few more years.

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Headed to Philadelphia tonight for work...exciting new case.

Your brother looks so young. :)
What a cute way to ask the girl though.
And did he really make the mum? How cool.
