Houston Texans Game

Last weekend when H's friend was in town, we headed to the Texans game on Sunday.

It was military recognition day & the former presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush were there to do the coin toss and meet with some of the wounded veterans.

And the Texans cheerleaders were in on the day with there military themed outfits.

I've seen lots of big flags at games, but this one shaped like the United States was something new.

No game is complete here without a huge Texas flag too.

And then of course the football- we actually won the game that day & it was a great game to watch!

Super zoom of the former presidents & their wives (Laura wasn't in the photo, but she was around). I think that is former Secretary of State James Baker sitting next to the elder Bush.

I captured a great video of the paratroopers landing on the field as part of the opening ceremonies.

GOOD NEWS OF THE DAY: Another beautiful fall day here & we're doing nothing this afternoon but relaxing!
